My name is Jonas Borntreger. I am 66 and retired from factory work; the father of nine and for many years involved in various forms of Christian ministry. Some time ago I started trying to chronicle some of my ideas, teachings and experiences. It is hoped that this blog spot will turn into a form of blessing as I share some of these concepts with you.

Hey Jonas, I just started a blogspot myself. I am a former Amish preacher. I plan to write a book on the Midwestern Amish someday. Part of the purpose for my blogspot is to collect ideas/topics for my book. It seems your blogspot might be a good place to glean some ideas as well. Would you care to exchange links?

I enjoy your web blog very much! I haven’t read every thing, but liked what I read. Brother Joe doesn’t get online very much, so I am printing some out for him. He especially liked the chainsaw story, remembering some of it. He said our dad had one until he had to get rid of it. Didn’t make sense to Joe of course!
